Hey Duncs, I’m sorry I can’t be there to see you off old chum, as fate would decree I’m a good few miles away with Mrs S on holiday in Lake Garda. I think you would have liked it here, good food, nice bars and the lake is wonderful, even though they don’t allow jet skis!
I’ll come and visit you soon, when I’ve finally accepted that we won’t be going chugging around another lake of our younger years one last time.
I’ll tell you about all the things I didn’t write in the book and know you would never have judged me.
Until we sit together again on that Green Hill, I will truly miss you, and your little friend who lives in your pocket and tells you to light fires!
Sads x

From Richard and Al and everyone else at the sadly missed JG Windows music shop.
Farewell, Duncan. You were one of the good guys. You loved music as much as we did and it was always a pleasure chewing the fat about basses and bands on a Saturday with you and your family. Rest in peace mate, and keep it low and groovy with the other musos upstairs.
Much love and condolences to your lovely family.

Firstly. Sending our thoughts to his dear family and friends.. like everyone it was a total shock to hear that this amazing man had passed. He was a inspiration to So many people, including myself. I had the pleasure to share the stage with him and had a total blast. Some great jam sessions to. I will always have these great memories to keep hold of buddy. You'll be sadly missed! God bless x

So sad to here Duncan had to leave us all. Love to the family, friends and colleagues. He was amazingly always so helpful with any questions I had with a project during lockdown. I didn't know him that well but I always heard he was a legend. God bless you Duncan, see you up there one day pal. ❤️.

Duncan brother, it’s been a privilege just to have been your friend. A man like you is truly difficult to find in a world like ours. A true gentleman, fiercely loyal and ridiculously funny. I listened, I learned, I’ll always remember. One Love Brother

Duncan, We spent so many hours at band rehersals together. Your passion for creating music and cranking those amps was inspirational. It was an absolute pleasure and privilege being involved in music with you. You will be hugely missed and have been taken way too soon. Rest in peace my friend. Rock their socks off up there. Mark 🖤

Duncan, Ian has known you most of his life and I have known you since school. We can hand on heart honestly say it has been a pleasure and an honour to have known you. You made a lasting impression on us and everyone around you because of your love for life and music. The School reunions were blessed with your laughter, jokes, your fun for life and your memories that you shared with us all not forgetting your cheek !! (You got that from your Mam). You brought Ian and me together again too and for that we will always be eternally grateful. You fought a good fight right up to the end and I know your family are very proud of you for that alone alongside being the best husband, father, brother, Uncle that they could wish for. You were taken far too soon by a horrible disease and shared your journey to raise awareness for that alone your amazing .......Just know you were loved and respected so very, very much. Rest easy Duncan xxx
