This month the ladies from Sharing Together Crafts have chosen to support two charities, The Women's Refuge and The Silent Santa Appeal, Darlington.

Dorothy Whitehouse and the ladies from Sharing Together Crafts have knitted hats, scarves and gloves and donated £200 worth of toys to the Silent Santa Appeal. Each year, Councillor Gerald Lee and his wife Ruth deliver toys to children in need in our local community. It's quite a big task so Dorothy and the ladies always contribute toys to the appeal.

Pictured below is Dorothy Whitehouse handing over a cheque for £200 to The Women's Refuge. For women experiencing domestic abuse Christmas can be incredibly difficult, the refuge provides vital support to those women and families at their time of need.
