Peak District Ultra Challenge raising funds for the MNDA
February 25th, 2025

Last week, Dorothy Whitehouse presented a cheque for £250 to Angie, a resident of Newton Aycliffe, in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). Dorothy and the ladies from Sharing Together Crafts dedicate their time to knitting and creating various items, raising funds for different charities each month.

Angie, pictured with Dorothy, was recently diagnosed with MND. Demonstrating remarkable strength and positivity, she, along with her friends, have decided to participate in the Peak District Ultra Challenge to raise money for the MNDA. They will be walking 25 km through the beautiful countryside and have already raised an impressive amount.

If you would like to support Angie and her friends in raising money for the MNDA, please visit their JustGiving page:

Thank you for your generosity.
