John & Julie went above and beyond and made everything much easier for me . They gave a personal but extremely professional service. Losing my husband was hard but they made a big difference and the funeral went well . Little suggestions to make things go easier for me . Right from the start Whitehouse were superb. For a service you don't really want to be using, Tracey and the team were outstanding, friendly, professional, and so compassionate. The service went off without a hitch, a perfect send-off for our mother/ mother-in-law. I cannot recommend them enough. I was introduced to Whitehouse Funeral Service on the day my partner passed away, as they were the on-call Funeral Directors. Even though I wasn't a client then, John was so kind and understanding and left his card, in case I wanted to ask any questions once the initial shock had subsided. I'd never dealt with a death / booked a funeral before and must admit that I initially put off making any arrangements, as I feared I would be out of my depth. I chose Whitehouse to arrange the funeral, as not only had I seen for myself the care and attention they devote to clients but they were also highly recommended to me, due to being a family firm and not a franchise. I met with Tracey, who was just lovely. She immediately put me at ease, understood to go at my pace and made sure I was comfortable and confident with all arrangements made. After our meeting, Tracey called me every few days, to let me know how things were progressing. Michael (the Celebrant) came to my home a few days later and via empathy and gentle humour, made a very difficult conversation about my partner's life and times much easier than I had anticipated. He was then in constant touch, crafting and refining his script, so that I was totally happy with the content, ready for the funeral service. David stage-managed the day of the funeral. He was so patient and gentle, making sure I was in the right place at the right time, so everything ran smoothly. Funerals are never nice but I was really happy with the day and felt we gave my partner the best send-off possible. In the weeks after the funeral, both Tracey and Michael kept in touch, to check on my wellbeing, which I really appreciated. From start to finish, Whitehouse made sure I was totally supported and nothing was ever too much trouble. White House wow! The send-off you planned with my sister Sharon’s partner’s daughters was truly touching—a beautiful celebration of life. My experience was something so special, one I will honestly never forget. Words are not enough, but please know you are all in my heart. Everything was not just five-star, it was beyond and beyond. Whitehouse were absolutely amazing. I’ve lost both my dad and my nana in a matter of months and Whitehouse dealt with both funerals. They were incredible. Took away all of the stress, treated us with dignity and respect and were so supportive to the whole family. Tracy particularly is unbelievably kind, caring patient and considerate. They made a terrible time easy to navigate and as stress free as they could. They were always there to listen and so caring. We couldn't have asked for more.
